We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of materials and furnishings for interior design projects.
This role ensures that all materials are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and align with the project's aesthetic and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement purchasing strategies that align with project timelines and budgets.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure favorable conditions.
- Source a wide range of materials, including furniture, lighting, flooring, wall finishes, and decor items, ensuring they meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations, ensuring timely availability of materials for projects.
- Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing without compromising on quality.
- Work closely with interior designers, project managers to understand material requirements and ensure seamless integration into the design.
- Ensure that all procured materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier communications, and delivery schedules. Provide regular reports on procurement status to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the interior design or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with procurement software and tools.
