Intern - Laboratory Technician

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for analyzing used refrigerant prior to reclamation. This position will report to Laboratory Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Analyze used refrigerant samples utilizing Hudson’s micro-GC and Quick Screen gas chromatography procedures
• Learn both Perkin Elmer Totalchrom and Agilent Easychrom software
• Preparation of refrigerant samples for analysis
• Data entry into Hudson’s Refrigerant Handling System (RHS)
• Recovery of excess samples and evacuation of sample cylinders
• Labeling of analyzed cylinders of refrigerant

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline is required
• Excellent organizational, communications and interpersonal skills are essential
• Result oriented, dependable, motivated individual with strong work ethics
• Good team player
• Attention to detail a must
