INTERN - Marketing and Social Media

Company Summary:

410 Medical, based in Research Triangle Park, NC, is focused on developing innovative technologies to improve resuscitation of critically ill patients. 410’s lead product, LifeFlow PLUS, is a handheld portable infuser designed to enable clinicians to more effectively and efficiently deliver fluid and blood products to patients in urgent need of rapid resuscitation.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Intern will join the 410 Medical team in our Research Triangle Park, North Carolina location. This individual will support the sales and marketing teams. This position will provide experience in a medical device startup environment during the school year starting January 2026 and into the summer of 2026 and will be a combination of both remote tasks and in-office work. This is a part-time position with expectations of 10 hours per week during the school year and 20-30 hours per week for the summer session.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination of email marketing and social media campaigns - Provide design input and assist with creation of marketing collateral
• Work with marketing team to create monthly marketing newsletter
• Provide creative ideas for social media posts and assist with creation of videos/posts
• Assist with marketing analysis of ROI/effectiveness of Google Ads, SEO, social media campaigns, etc.
• Assist with photo and video shoots as needed
• Support team in ordering, organization, and. boxing of commercial materials
• Attend and/or participate in trade show planning and execution
• Participate in a hospital site visit or field meeting
• Other marketing support activities helpful for the company
• Present a final presentation at the conclusion of the internship

Requirements:

• Pursuing course work toward a Bachelor’s Degree
• Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members, vendors and customers
• Experience with Canva, Adobe, and other marketing tools
• Self-motivated, proactive work style with a strong drive for success
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
