Summary:

The Supply Chain Corporate Contracting team consists of seven (7) team members responsible for managing non-clinical contracts for goods and services for Facilities, Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance and Security. Activities include facilitating major contracts (over $1mm annual spend) solicitations via the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, reviewing and approving purchasing requests, and managing supplier performance. Non-Clinical Contracting Team is part of the Supply Chain Department reporting to Finance.

The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment. This is an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated student to help transform our Supply Chain SharePoint site into a user-friendly, organization-wide hub for communication and collaboration. This project will give you hands-on experience in SharePoint design, user experience, and stakeholder engagement, while making a real impact on how our teams share information and work together. As an Intern, you will assist in improving usability, streamlining communication, and integrating collaboration tools. You’ll work closely with supply chain leaders and staff to design an intuitive platform that supports sustainability and engagement. Day-to-day activities may include surveying staff, redesigning the site layouts, establishing update and archiving routines, integrating collaborative tools, and developing marketing and implementation plans.

We welcome undergraduate and graduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors studying project management, marketing, communications, business administration, computer information systems/information technology, strategic procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management to apply.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate’s Degree program, Bachelor’s Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.
