Intern - Teller & Lobby Support

SUMMARY:

This Intern provides hands-on experience in both teller operations and lobby coordination. The Intern will support customer transactions, deliver exceptional service, and assist with daily branch operations in a professional and welcoming environment.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet customers and assist with general inquiries.
  • Support teller line by processing simple transactions (e.g., check deposits, payments).
  • Assist with account maintenance tasks such as address changes or debit card support.
  • Manage lobby flow and direct customers appropriately.
  • Answer and route incoming calls.
  • Perform administrative duties (filing, scanning, mail sorting).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all bank policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned to support organizational objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Air-Conditioned work environment.
  • Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach.
  • Simple grasping and fine manipulation.
  • Extended keyboarding.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or currently enrolled student.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
