Internal Accountant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Quickbooks, and accounting principles and practices, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, and the ability to interpret financial reports accurately. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with applicable regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger accounting and perform general ledger reconciliation.
• Interpret financial reports to provide insights into business performance.
• Assist in corporate finance activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• invoice and follow up on late payments.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience in accounting or a related field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
• Experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger accounting is required.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Knowledge of wills, trusts, estate law, and corporate finance is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems effectively.
