We are looking for an Internal Control Assistant Manager for our client, whom we provide consultancy services to.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, Insurance, or a related field

Minimum 6–7 years of experience in Internal Control, Risk Management, or Internal Audit within the insurance, banking, or financial sectors

Proficient in English, both written and spoken (capable of preparing reports and presentations)

Advanced knowledge of designing, implementing, and evaluating internal control systems
-
Familiarity with Business Continuity Management principles

Experience in process-based control and risk analysis
-
Strong ability to work with data analysis and reporting systems
-
High level of persuasion and follow-up skills regarding issue closures and corrective action plans
-
Analytical mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in interactions with senior management
JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure the design, implementation, and evaluation of the internal control system
-
Develop process-based risk and control matrices (RCM), prepare test plans, and report results
-
Monitor risk indicators related to operational, financial, IT, and regulatory compliance controls
-
Perform and oversee controls for claims, underwriting, reinsurance, collection, finance, and information systems processes
-
Conduct root cause analyses of control deficiencies and prepare corrective and preventive action plans
-
Develop, implement, and monitor risk-based internal control plans
-
Evaluate control test results, classify findings by impact level, and report to management
-
Contribute to the automation of processes and the digitalization of controls
-
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Actuarial, IT, Compliance, and Audit)
-
Lead issue analysis meetings, provide guidance and direction to relevant departments
-
Track the closure of findings and maintain effective communication with stakeholders

Prepare concise and analytical reports for senior management

Support Business Continuity Management (BCM) processes
