International Logistics Sourcing Specialist

Kastamonu Entegre Ağaç Sanayi which is one of the two locomotive companies of Hayat Holding was established in year 1969 for production in the wooden panel industry and today became a global power which is the 1st in Türkiye, the 3rd in Europe and the 4th in the world in its field.

Kastamonu Entegre Headquarters is looking for a “International Logistics Sourcing Specialist" in Supply Chain team. The position is based in “Altunizade, İstanbul.”

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes across all transportation modes, including sea, road, air, and intermodal transportation.
• Actively monitor and report on the container market, capacity changes by shipping line, and freight trends.
• Analyze bunker movements and forecast their cost impact.
• Develop logistics procurement strategies by establishing the right balance between spot and contract rates.
• Make data-driven decisions by effectively using freight benchmark and data platforms such as Xeneta, World Container Index (WCI), Transporeon, Upply, etc.
• Conduct strong negotiations with global and local carriers.
• Plan, manage, and finalize tender processes.
• Lead price, service, and contract negotiations with suppliers.
• Measure and improve supplier performance based on KPIs.
• Develop alternative transportation models, route optimization initiatives, and cost-saving projects.
• Conduct warehouse feasibility and costing studies.
• Prepare logistics budgeting activities and develop methods to improve costs in line with budget targets.
• Work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, accurately analyze business needs, and develop appropriate logistics procurement models.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of all transportation modes, including sea, air, road, and intermodal transportation.
• Solid understanding of container shipping and the global freight market.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with advanced Excel knowledge; BI experience is preferred.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to use logistics procurement platforms, freight benchmark tools, and data platforms effectively.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Good command of English is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics procurement and/or sourcing.
• Experience in corporate and service procurement platforms.
• Previous experience in a shipping line is preferred.
