Interventionist Teacher, Full Time (Grades 1-3)

POSITION: Title Interventionist Teacher
STATUS: Full Time 1.0 FTE
LOCATION: CHARLOTTE PUBLIC SCHOOLS – Parkview Elementary (Grades 1-3)

ASSIGNMENT/RESPONSIBILITY: A strong teacher leader to assist in fostering student growth in an intervention capacity for elementary students identified as eligible for additional support services. Strong curricular knowledge regarding math and ELA as well as a clear understanding of appropriate interventions and accommodations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Bachelor's degree with valid Michigan Teaching Certificate required for posted position. Applicants must meet all applicable standards for a "highly qualified" teacher under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, including the NCLB Final Regulations, and the Michigan State Board of Education. Valid Michigan teaching certificate. Knowledge of requirements of state and federal mandates which directly affect student programming.
