Position Summary:
Creates and maintains accurate records of all inventories (including label room), verifying that product shipments and receipts are properly accounted for.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Completes daily physical count of materials in facility including raw materials, finished goods, and label room to ensure accurate record keeping and availability of product.
- Maintains records and develops reports for the reconciliation of supplies inventories.
- Reviews productions kits to ensure that inventory is on hand.
- Updates and maintains worksheet of materials scheduled to be produced.
- Completes required paperwork on cycle counts and inventory levels as needed for review by production managers.
- Assists in the organization of warehouse and improvement of inventory control operations.
- Accounts for all defective or damaged product and follows appropriate corrective actions.
- Assists in developing daily production scheduling based on inventory counts and needs.
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes
- Provides backup support to Packaging Operators as needed.
- Participates in departmental meetings.
- Operate forklift as required.
Job Specifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer 1-3 years prior experience operating a forklift in a high-volume environment.
- Able to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately and provide instructions to other associates as needed.
- Ability to understand, follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
