We are looking for an Inventory controller for our raw material stores to control inventory movement, storage, accuracy and quality. The role ensures accurate tracking of all raw materials/ consumables/ assets which required/ available for smooth production operations while minimizing wastage, shortages, excess stock and coordination with audit departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all raw materials (inward, outward, WIP, balance stock).
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper documentation (GRN – Goods Receiving Note), Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions.
- Ensure proper storage as per maintained quality/ safety standards considering the nature of materials.
- Maintain WMS/ organized layout for easy identification and retrieval.
- Coordinate with procurement for material planning and shortages.
- Work closely with production team to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Hands on with ERP/ software for inventory tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- 3–5 years of practical experience in Inventory management.
- Experience in furniture or wood-based manufacturing will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong planning and coordination skills.
- Good command of MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows.
- Good communication and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
