Job Responsibilities – Inventory Executive
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/stock management system.
- Perform daily stock posting, adjustments, and reconciliation in the system based on GRNs, purchase invoices, and warehouse documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight discrepancies, slow-moving items, near-expiry batches, and shortages to management.
- Verify system-generated stock reports and ensure alignment with physical warehouse balances.
Warehouse Coordination
- Conduct weekly visits to the warehouse for physical stock counts, sampling checks, and verification of inbound/outbound movements.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper documentation of receiving, dispatching, and storage practices.
- Investigate and resolve stock variances between system records and warehouse physical stocks.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO compliance, especially for food and pharma products.
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Prepare monthly inventory reconciliation statements and variance analysis reports.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing updated stock reports, movement summaries, and supporting documents.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain and file all inventory documents including stock sheets, delivery orders, discrepancy reports, and adjustment approvals.
- Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and sales teams to ensure smooth stock flow and timely updates.
Operational Support
- Track inbound shipments, coordinate with clearing/forwarding teams, and update stock arrival timelines.
- Support cycle counts and annual stock-taking activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy, warehouse processes/ efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / BBA) or ACCA/ ICMA Part Qualified- (Master's Preferred).
- Age: Maximum 28 years.
- Experience: At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in inventory control, stock reconciliation, or warehouse coordination (preferably in food, pharma, Chemicals)
- Skills Required:
- Strong command of MS Excel and inventory ERP systems
- Good understanding of stock reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of FEFO/FIFO principles
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to visit warehouse weekly and work with cross-functional teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
