Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Executive to join us at Scaleup Connect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, analyzing stock movement, preparing reports, and ensuring optimal inventory control to reduce shortages, excess stock, and operational inefficiencies.

This role requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA/Macros, and data analysis, along with a solid understanding of inventory management principles and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Track, monitor, and analyze inventory levels across warehouses and locations.
• Identify slow-moving, fast-moving, and obsolete stock through data analysis.
• Prepare and maintain inventory reports using Advanced Excel & VBA automation.
• Create and manage Pivot Tables, charts, and dashboards to visualize stock trends.
• Perform data functions including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and data matching for reconciliation.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to forecast stock requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, variances, and risks in inventory data and take corrective measures.
• Support cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation processes.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related field

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong command of VBA / Macros.
• Expertise in Pivot Tables.
• Sound knowledge of Inventory Management & Stock Control.
• Proficient in VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP.
• Experience in Data Analysis & Reporting.
• Knowledge of Data Visualization techniques.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
