The Role: What You’ll Do

As an Investment Analyst, you will be at the heart of our deal pipeline. You will be responsible for evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting comprehensive due diligence, and building the robust financial models that guide our executive decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Modeling: Develop, stress-test, and maintain sophisticated valuation and forecasting models (DCF, LBO, comparable analysis) to evaluate potential acquisitions and asset performance.
• Market & Industry Research: Conduct deep-dive macroeconomic and sector-specific research to identify emerging trends, risks, and investment opportunities within Qatar and the broader GCC market.
• Due Diligence: Lead and support the financial due diligence process, meticulously reviewing target companies’ financial statements, operational data, and business plans.
• Investment Memorandums: Synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear, persuasive investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Track the performance of existing portfolio companies, preparing regular benchmark reports and identifying areas for strategic optimization.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. Progress toward or completion of the CFA designation is highly advantageous.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development.
• Analytical Excellence: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Capital IQ). You must be able to turn raw data into strategic insight.
• Strategic Thinker: An innate ability to look beyond the numbers to understand market dynamics, competitive advantages, and risk factors.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic fluency is a strong asset).
• Local Context: A solid understanding of the Qatari regulatory framework and business culture is preferred.
