We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Supervisor to oversee and manage the planning, installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for agricultural fields, landscapes, or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical knowledge of irrigation systems, and hands-on experience in field operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of irrigation crews and laborers.
• Plan and schedule irrigation operations to ensure efficient water usage.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip systems, pumps, valves, controllers, etc.).
• Inspect irrigation systems regularly to identify malfunctions or areas needing adjustment.
• Monitor soil moisture, weather conditions, and water usage to optimize irrigation efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of water usage, maintenance activities, and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and water usage guidelines.
• Train team members on proper irrigation techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with landscape architects, farm managers, or project managers to align irrigation strategies with project goals.
• Order and manage inventory of irrigation parts, tools, and equipment.
• Report regularly to senior management regarding system performance, issues, and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2–5 years) in irrigation system management or supervision.
• Strong knowledge of different irrigation systems and techniques (manual, automatic, drip, sprinkler, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Leadership and team coordination skills.
• Problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety standards and environmental guidelines.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of water conservation methods and smart irrigation technologies is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license (if travel to sites is required).

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
