About the Role:

As an IT Business Analyst, you will act as the liaison between business units and IT, translating operational goals into actionable technology solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations to gather requirements, streamline processes, and deliver systems that improve efficiency, communication, and Customer engagement.

This is an on-site position based at JSX Headquarters in Dallas, TX.

JSX is unable to provide current or future employment-based visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, or similar). This position requires that applicants be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

A Day in the Life:

Your day will be varied and cross-functional, blending analytical work, collaboration, and project support to ensure business and technology stay in sync. You’ll also:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories and technical specifications.
  • Support the delivery of customer-facing content updates across digital platforms.
  • Coordinate content workflows within CMS and knowledgebase systems.
  • Assist with project scope, objectives, and communication of key deliverables.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new systems or feature enhancements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards that drive informed decision-making.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for projects and solutions.
  • Proactively identify and propose process and system improvements.

What Makes a Successful IT Business Analyst?

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Analytical: You find patterns in complexity and turn data into actionable insight.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or a related role
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with business process modeling and requirements gathering
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar)

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) or collaborative platforms
  • Knowledge of data reporting and dashboard creation
  • Exposure to aviation, logistics, or customer-focused technology environments

Skill, Licenses, & Certifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar workflow tools (preferred)

Pay & Perks:

Compensation is $XX.XX/hour. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
