Role Overview
The IT Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, presenting IT solutions, and driving revenue growth for the organization. The candidate will work closely with the sales, technical, and marketing teams to deliver customized IT services and solutions to clients across industries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Market Research
- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and digital channels.
- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events.
- Maintain and update a strong sales pipeline.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Conduct meetings (virtual/onsite) to understand client requirements and pain points.
- Provide timely follow-ups and ensure high customer satisfaction.
3. Sales & Solution Pitching
- Present IT services and solutions such as software development, cloud services, web/mobile app development, cybersecurity, ERP/CRM solutions, etc.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, finalize deals, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
4. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the technical team to understand solution capabilities and create accurate proposals.
- Coordinate with marketing for lead generation campaigns and content strategies.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain CRM records and track sales activities, leads, and conversions.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical / Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of IT services, software development cycles, cloud solutions, or digital transformation.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value propositions.
Sales & Communication Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals in the IT industry.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
Other Skills

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
