About the role

As the IT Business Partner MEA you will support the local business unit team by providing appropriate Tech consultancy related to Tech tools and solutions to support the delivery of business objectives. You will be working on all global/local apps around commercial ERP, drive data & analytics agenda, and manage digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

1. Plan and execute technology initiatives in accordance with identified business demand through analyzing business processes and build business cases for strategic changes.
2. Lead project delivery and Tech product & platform adoption with strong capability in Agile and Project Management methodologies and work with business users on Tech systems, product, business analysis, and value assessment.
3. Drive customer-centric value of global products and manage product portfolio.
4. Engage in stakeholder management and provide consultation on Tech investments.
5. Stay updated with the latest developments in Information Technology and industry best practices.
6. Support operations by acting as an escalation point for operational support issues and triaging issues to the correct Tech group.
7. Maintain all local applications and services through global/local resources or third-party vendors.

Qualifications and skills Essential

• Bachelors in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Business Informatics or equivalent.
• 3 years work experience in Tech.
• Broad knowledge of Tech systems (Azure Cloud, SAP, Portfolio Management, Jira, Confluence).
• Proven track record in delivering high-impact Tech-enabled solutions.
• Deep content knowledge of relevant process areas.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and plan work to meet objectives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management/Agile methodologies & Digital technologies.
• Experience in data-driven solutions, data analytics, and managing digital initiatives.

Preferred

• Masters degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
• UAE experience is preferred
• ITIL foundation/PMP, Awareness of Six Sigma tools, ADP AGILE (VFQ), Scrum master.
• Familiarity with business processes and IT tools supporting business objectives.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
