We are seeking a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in numbers, data analysis, and executive-level presentations to support the Office of the CIO. This role will work closely with the Chief of Staff to provide actionable insights, data-driven recommendations, and clear communication that drives strategic decisions and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and has exceptional technical and analytical skills.
What you’ll do?
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities aligned with IT strategy and business goals.- Develop, maintain, and present clear, concise reports and visualizations for executive leadership.
- Support the CIO office with data-driven insights to inform decision-making and project prioritization.
- Maintain organized documentation and draft monthly newsletters, blogs, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment.
- Prepare presentations and briefing materials for executive meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business teams, translating technology concepts (e.g., cybersecurity, operational support, tickets).
- Collaborate with IT, data teams, and business units to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and technology initiatives.
- Contribute to data governance and compliance efforts as needed.
- Manage 20+ spreadsheets simultaneously and create advanced Excel models using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros.
- Build dashboards and automate reporting processes, supporting future-state initiatives like API and system integrations.
- Handle ad hoc reporting and cross-functional special projects spanning program, finance, and IT strategy.
- 5–7 years of experience in data analysis, business management, IT PMO, finance, or IT business analysis.
- Excel Super User with advanced proficiency in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros, and ability to manage large datasets efficiently.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint for executive presentations and Visio for workflow and process mapping.
- Experience with SQL queries, BI tools, and Cognos reporting, with familiarity in Power BI or Tableau preferred.
- Strong quantitative and statistical analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with IT operations and terminology (e.g., cybersecurity, operational tickets, support processes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven ability to reconcile, validate, and thoroughly quality-check work.
- Comfortable working onsite in the NY office.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
- Strong understanding of technology operations and project management principles.
- Experience building dashboards and automating reporting processes.
