IT Manager

Job Summary:

A Reputed contracting company in Bahrain is seeking a highly experienced and strategic IT Manager to lead and manage the company’s IT operations, infrastructure, and digital initiatives. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in Oracle ERP (all modules), network and infrastructure setup, IT security protocols, and team leadership. The role requires hands-on experience in managing similar responsibilities in a contracting or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• ERP Management:

o Oversee and support all modules of Oracle ERP, including Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS, Projects, and Procurement.

o Liaise with department heads to ensure ERP functionalities align with business needs.

o Lead the implementation of upgrades, new modules, and performance tuning.

• Network & Infrastructure:

o Manage the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, servers, and communication systems.

o Ensure high availability and optimal performance of IT infrastructure.

o Plan and execute IT infrastructure expansion aligned with company growth.

• IT Security:

o Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and procedures.

o Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and security audits.

o Oversee data protection and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Team & Vendor Management:

o Lead, mentor, and manage the internal IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

o Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT services and solutions.

o Establish KPIs and performance metrics for the IT department.

• Project Management & Strategy:

o Develop and manage IT budgets and cost-effective technology strategies.

o Lead key digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

o Report to senior management on IT performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.

• Hands-on expertise in Oracle ERP (all modules).

• Proven experience in network architecture, server administration, cybersecurity, and data backup solutions.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

• Ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams.

• IT certifications (e.g., PMP, Oracle, Cisco, CISSP) are highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD600.000 - BD1,000.000 per month
