We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT professionals to join our team as an IT Specialist based in Ankara. This role requires a versatile individual capable of managing, maintaining, and optimizing our entire IT infrastructure – encompassing network systems, servers, cybersecurity protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Network Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices (switches and firewalls) ensuring optimal network performance and security.
• Server Administration: Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, including patching, upgrades, backup solutions, and performance monitoring.
• Cybersecurity Implementation & Monitoring: Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems against threats (nac, waf, mfa, pam, xdr)
• Virtualization Support: Administer and maintain virtualized environments (OpenStack, Ceph, Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V), ensuring efficient resource allocation & stability.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Respond to IT incidents, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system architecture, and procedures.
• User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware/software issues and training needs.
• IT Project Implementation: Participate in IT projects, contributing to the planning, implementation, and testing of new systems & technologies.

Requirements (Skills & Experience)

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and network security fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of server administration, virtualization principles, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and best practices (firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention, access control).
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Intermediate English level (B1+)
• No restrictions on international travel
• Valid driving licence
• Military service completed (for male candidates)

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA).
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Basic knowledge of database administration (e.g., MS SQL Server).
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management processes.
• Previous experience in IT project coordination or project management.
