Job Description: IT Support Position Summary-
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance, managing hosting services, maintaining PBX and DVR systems, and ensuring seamless IP connectivity across all company networks and devices.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Support
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to staff.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and related equipment.
- Hosting Management
- Manage and monitor web hosting, email hosting, and server performance.
- Handle domain management, DNS configuration, and backup routines.
- Ensure data security, uptime, and periodic maintenance of hosting services.
- PBX (Telephone System)
- Install, configure, and maintain PBX telephone systems (IP & analog).
- Troubleshoot call routing issues, extensions, voicemail, and VoIP devices.
- Coordinate with telecom providers for service or line issues.
- DVR / CCTV System
- Install and maintain DVR/CCTV systems and IP cameras.
- Ensure proper recording, storage, and retrieval of surveillance videos.
- Perform periodic checks and upgrades of security camera systems.
- IP Connectivity & Networking
- Configure IP addresses, routers, switches, and access points.
- Perform network setup, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Maintain secure Wi-Fi, LAN, and VLAN configurations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or network administration.
- Knowledge of PBX systems, VoIP, and DVR/CCTV setups.
- Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
