Candidate Profile

A senior IT professional with a strong hospitality background and a passion for service excellence. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience in hotel IT support and application management, with proven success leading two specialized teams one focused on guest and end-user support & infrastructure, and the other on hotel applications.

The successful candidate is a confident communicator, capable of managing teams independently and collaborating effectively across multicultural environments. Experience deploying and supporting Oracle Opera Cloud and Simphony Cloud is essential, including at least one full end-to-end rollout of both platforms and integrations through APIs and interfaces.

The candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of support excellence, continuous improvement, and budget-conscious operations, managing resources effectively within the AED 35,000 40,000 range.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support & Application Manager to oversee IT operations at JA The Resort, leading two dedicated teams: IT Support Services and Hotel Application Management. This role ensures operational excellence, system reliability, and exceptional service quality across all hotel systems, with a strong focus on Oracle Opera Cloud and Simphony Cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor two IT teams: Support & Infrastructure and Applications Management.
  • Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring timely issue resolution and user satisfaction.
  • Manage the full application lifecycle, including deployment, optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive end-to-end rollouts of Oracle Opera Cloud and Simphony Cloud.
  • Collaborate with hotel operations, corporate IT, and vendors to align technology with business goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively within the AED 35,000 40,000 range.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and data integrity standards.

Requirements
