Core Duties
* Lead the technical support team to ensure timely and accurate resolution of client issues.
* Monitor servers and systems, track problems, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
* Apply patches and fixes for minor issues, escalating unresolved cases as needed.
* Assist in planning, evaluating, and implementing new IT systems and platforms.
* Maintain security, integrity, and continuity controls for business systems.
* Contribute to support knowledge base by preparing IT manuals, technical notes, and guides.
* Support end users via phone, email, chat, or in-person to resolve technical queries.
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and networks.
* Set up user accounts, passwords, and profiles, and support UAT, training, and rollouts of new applications.
* Maintain accurate IT asset records and generate timely reports.
* Provide 24x7 support availability for critical systems as required.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
* ITIL certification required; CCNP or CCIE certification preferred.
* 5 6 years experience in IT infrastructure support, service desk, or critical operations, preferably in aviation.
* Strong skills in implementing and monitoring infrastructure projects.
* Experience with Java, J2EE, Oracle database, Spring, Hibernate, Struts 2, Jquery, Javascript, Jboss, and Tomcat.
* Broad IT knowledge across heterogeneous technology environments.
* Skilled in analyzing data, problem-solving, and recommending effective solutions.
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to manage both internally and externally hosted technology platforms.
* Willingness to travel occasionally for training or project implementations.
