IT System Engineer

Job description:

We’re seeking a talented IT Systems Engineer with strong technical expertise to manage and optimize our infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security operations. This role is hands-on and requires a proactive engineer with excellent English communication skills, capable of working across multiple IT domains including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and network security.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support Active Directory migrations (on-prem, hybrid, Azure AD).
• Administer Microsoft 365 environments including security, compliance, and email protection (ATP, DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
• Deploy and manage enterprise-grade security tools (Darktrace, Bitdefender, Mimecast, Proofpoint, Forcepoint).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Assist in data migration projects ensuring minimal downtime (on-prem and cloud).
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Implement configuration management using tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Configure and maintain Layer 2/3 networks (VLANs, BGP, OSPF, STP).
• Manage firewalls, routers, VPNs, and ensure network security (IDS/IPS, ACLs, Zero Trust).
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and implement remediation measures.
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and incident response procedures.
• Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 operations and ensure timely resolution of tickets.
• Administer backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Acronis, Commvault).
• Utilize RMM tools (ManageEngine, SolarWinds) for system monitoring and reporting.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.

Requirements

• 4 - 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security and monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of VAPT, backup/DR, and endpoint/email security.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be open to on-site work and international travel when required.
