Description
- Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams (including Teams Phone), and SharePoint Online.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 roadmap and feature releases, ensuring proper planning, tracking, testing, and communication for upcoming changes.
- Implement and maintain security best practices across M365 and Azure environments, including conditional access, MFA, and compliance configurations.
- Support and manage hybrid Azure Active Directory (AAD) environments, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity lifecycle management.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Service Desk escalations related to Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
- Manage assigned projects, tasks, and change requests, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and configure systems accordingly.
- Maintain documentation of technology systems, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior team members and end-users.
- Participate in special projects and cross-team initiatives as required.
- Ensure licensing and compliance management across M365 workloads.
- Monitor system health, usage, and performance, leveraging tools such as Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Security & Compliance Center, and PowerShell.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Graph API) to streamline administration tasks.
- Support data governance, retention, and eDiscovery processes.
- Stay current with emerging Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies, recommending improvements and enhancements.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years Microsoft 365 administration experience with Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Exchange Online administration (domains, policies, transport rules, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 monitoring service health, removal of user accounts, and management of service requests
- Microsoft 365 Identity and Access Management, Azure Active Directory
- Experience with system monitoring, issue investigation, performance monitoring and tuning
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell
- Experience with ITIL Service Management processes (Incident, Change and Problem)
- Strong communication skills
- Strong research skills Education qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education
