Job Summary:
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s internal technology systems. This role focuses on day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365 and related IT infrastructure, ensuring systems run smoothly and employees have reliable technology tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, email, Teams, SharePoint, and device management with Intune.
- Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, device provisioning, and access management.
- Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.
- Support basic security measures, including password resets, software updates, and endpoint protection.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve system issues and improve efficiency.
- Assist with evaluating new tools and software to support business operations.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–4 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, or enterprise IT environments.
- Basic experience with Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender.
Special Requirements:
- Familiarity with standard IT support tools, ticketing systems, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Solid technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively with non-technical staff.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow IT procedures consistently.
Additional Desired Characteristics:
- Some exposure to VPN, endpoint security, or device management tools.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and participate in professional development.
