Position Title: IT Technician / IT Support Executive

Experience Required: Min 2 years

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting, software support, and basic networking. The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting day-to-day IT operations for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hardware & Infrastructure Support

● Perform PC/laptop assembly, upgrades, repairs, and diagnostics ● Configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and peripherals

● Install and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and access points

● Support office cabling, LAN setup, and patch panel management

2. Software & Operating System Support

● Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS

● Manage device drivers, updates, and OS patching

● Assist with basic Linux troubleshooting (preferred)

● Install and support company software applications

3. Networking & Connectivity

● Configure routers, switches, Wi-Fi networks, and VLAN basics

● Monitor and troubleshoot network issues (IP conflicts, connectivity, DHCP issues)

● Use diagnostic tools (ping, tracert, ipconfig, etc.) for network analysis

4. Cloud, Email & Access Management

● Manage user accounts on Office 365 or Google Workspace ● Configure email clients (Outlook/Gmail) and handle email issues ● Provide VPN setup & remote access support (RDP/AnyDesk/TeamViewer) ● Basic working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

5. Security & Compliance

● Implement security policies: access controls, password policies ● Ensure device encryption (BitLocker/FileVault)

● Monitor antivirus/EDR systems and ensure compliance

6. IT Asset Management

● Maintain updated inventory of IT devices and licenses ● Track warranties, repairs, and lifecycle replacement

● Support procurement and vendor coordination

7. Daily IT Operations & Support

● Provide on-site and remote support for employees

● Handle new joiner onboarding (devices, accounts, access setup) ● Support meeting room technology (projectors, video conferencing) ● Document issues, resolutions, and maintain IT records

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Minimum 2 years of IT support experience

● Strong hardware, networking, and Windows troubleshooting skills ● Basic understanding of Linux (preferred but optional)

● Experience with Office 365 or Google Workspace admin ● Knowledge of Wi-Fi setups, routers, switches, and VPNs

● Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently

● Good communication, documentation, and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

● Certifications such as CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Microsoft MCP (added advantage)

● Experience with cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP)

● Familiarity with IT ticketing systems
