Description:

General Statement of Duties:

Perform cleaning activities to rooms, equipment, and accessories. Replenish area supplies such as garbage bags, sticky mats, etc. Record cleaning activities on applicable required documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow daily maintenance schedule.
• Mop floors.
• Clean bathrooms and breakrooms.
• Check and refill self-cleaning products.
• Empty waste baskets.
• Vacuum floors, mats, and carpets.
• Other duties as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language and be understood.
• Must be able to handle information in a confidential manner.
• Handle basic maintenance, cleaning, and other janitorial work.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• 1-3 years in a janitorial role.
• Bilingual.

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
• Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and lifting to 40lbs.
• May be required to drive an automobile for short distances.
• May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust.
• Will work in a normally acceptable office environment, production floor, or warehouse, with no abnormal hazards or risks.
