Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that our spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach will contribute to a positive atmosphere for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently throughout the facility
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and facility upkeep as needed
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other consumables to ensure availability at all times

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners effectively
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
• Basic understanding of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus
