John Deere Technology Implementation Specialist

As a remote Precision Technology Implementation Specialist, you will work closely with strategic customers, internal teams and John Deere dealers to increase adoption and utilization of the most advanced precision technologies. This role involves a deep understanding of the functionality and fit of available solutions within a wide range of operations. Distinguishing focus in this role will be reflected in active support and ownership of Deere autonomy engagement and deployment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Technology Onboarding – Own the end-to-end success plan for each new autonomy or advanced guidance customer. Leading training, setup, equipment readiness, and team enablement—with targeted consultation scaled to customer capabilities.
• Implementation and Support – Deployment of the John Deere Tech Stack across various agricultural settings in the United States and Canada
• Engagement Strategy & Utilization Growth – Leverage advanced data sets and deep product knowledge to monitor post-sales KPIs (uptime, utilization, intervention rate), identify barriers with at-risk customers, and execute action plans that drive sustained utilization and renewal. Standardize the contributing factors and data sets that correlate with successful outcomes.
• Demonstrated Differentiation – Lead customers through the value creation and impact of supported products. Promote current and future capabilities of our technology solutions to target customers with an imperative focus on advanced guidance and autonomy.
• Influence Internally – Provide feedback to the broader Product Management and Marketing organizations to help shape the direction of future products and implementation tactics. Contribute on-ground perspective and live updates in-season to autonomy stakeholders.
• Collaborative Interaction – Partner with dealers and internal teams to incrementally support key initiatives via a higher touch approach than traditionally used. Lean into customer focused engagements and continue to tactfully develop what is possible while bringing the dealer along.

Requirements:

• John Deere Technology Expertise: In-depth knowledge and understanding of John Deere Technology, including Advanced Guidance and Operations Center.
• Location Flexibility: Must be willing to travel 75% to deploy and support the customer.
• Licenses: Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to get a passport with a clean record (no DUI’s)
• Agricultural Knowledge: Strong understanding of agriculture and farming operations with hands-on experience to “talk the talk.”
• Commitment: Ability to travel and work long hours when needed to ensure customers receive thorough and effective training with limited downtime to the operation.

Pay: $102,000.00 - $106,000.00 per year
