Joinery Estimator

Job Summary:
The Senior Estimator prepares accurate cost estimates for joinery projects, reviews project documents, and coordinates with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to support successful project delivery. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical ability, and the capacity to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to produce accurate bids.
• Coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Identify project risks and include contingencies.
• Monitor budgets and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain organized records of estimates and communications.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers.
• Stay updated on market trends and joinery techniques.
• Review completed projects to improve future estimates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of joinery/fit-out estimation experience (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials and techniques.
• Excellent analytical, CAD-reading, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines.
