Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare and update daily/weekly production schedules based on project timelines.
- Coordinate workloads between cutting, milling, assembly, finishing, and packing departments.
- Ensure production teams have all required drawings, materials, and instructions.
- Track work orders from release to completion.
2. Coordination with Design, Procurement & Site Teams
- Communicate with the design team to ensure drawings, cutting lists, and BOQs are released on time.
- Liaise with procurement to monitor material availability, delivery dates, and shortages.
- Coordinate with site teams regarding installation dates and delivery requirements.
- Manage NCRs and ensure timely resolution between departments.
3. Material & Resource Management
- Track usage of timber, boards, hardware, veneers, and finishing materials.
- Confirm that materials are reserved or allocated to specific jobs.
- Monitor stock levels and raise alerts for upcoming shortages.
- Verify that materials received match project specifications.
4. Workflow & Process Control
- Ensure smooth flow of production between departments (cutting → machining → assembly → finishing → packing).
- Report delays, bottlenecks, or manpower shortages to the Production Manager.
- Help coordinate machine schedules, manpower planning, and job prioritization.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain logs for production progress, job cards, material requisitions, and cutting lists.
- Prepare daily/weekly production status reports for management.
- Update ERP or production management systems accurately.
6. Quality & Compliance Support
- Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure joinery items meet specifications and standards.
- Flag any deviations in materials, workmanship, or drawings.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company and project requirements.
7. Delivery & Logistics Coordination
- Prepare dispatch lists and ensure finished goods are ready for delivery.
- Coordinate packaging, labeling, and transport arrangements.
- Confirm installation readiness with site teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor’s in Production, Industrial Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in joinery or fit-out production coordination.
- Knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, manufacturing processes, and shop drawings.
Skills & Competencies
- Understanding of joinery workflow (cutting, assembly, finishing).
- Ability to read technical drawings and BOQs.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
