Responsibilities
-
Maintain, repair, install and fabricate plan equipment
-
Troubleshoot equipment problems
-
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to perform work procedures
-
Grind parts
-
Weld parts
-
Other duties as assigned

May fight fires at incipient phase
-
Attend all safety and crew meetings
Data entry on Dynastar for various scheduling, planning and maintenance reports
Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on-call, and holidays
-
Experience with reading blueprints and precision measurements
-
Troubleshooting experience
-
Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation – Using a Work Order System
-
Able to work in extreme heat/cold, navigate catwalks and ladders – physical ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping and bending
-
Ability to communicate effectively and constructively
-
Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation
-
Ability to work with mathematical concepts in an industrial environment

Basic trade skills in industrial equipment repair and execution of routine preventative maintenance of heavy industrial equipment

Knowledge of and ability to weld
-
Machinist training and experience
-
Stable employment history with a minimum two years of experience in Industrial Maintenance work OR equivalent education to include vocation/technical school certificate

A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations
-
Knowledge of bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installations

Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
-
Basic knowledge of metal fabrication
-
Basic knowledge of cylinder repair
-
Working knowledge of basic industrial electricity issues

Must be willing to keep up with mechanical advancements
