Journeyman Plumber - Commercial Service

We are currently hiring commercial plumbers in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth areas. Applicant must be a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber. We are looking for candidates that can:

• Install, maintain, and repair piping components including joints, valves, drains, and fixtures in all types of commercial, industrial or medical structures.
• Assembles, installs, maintains and repairs all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, gas and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes
• Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools
• Coordinate with General Contractor and other building professionals on the jobsite.
• Understand and follow blueprints or building plans
• Follow current rules and regulations related to plumbing to ensure that the systems pass inspection for the fist time. Keeping and maintaining records of time spent on the job and materials purchased for the work.
• Measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines and pipe-bending machines.
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers and water softeners
• Preparing budgets and estimating costs to bid on potential work.
• Performing regular maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent emergencies.
• On-Call

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $41.00 per hour

Experience:

• commercial service: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Journeyman or Master's license (Preferred)
