Jr. Quantity Surveyor

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings & on-site dimensions.
• Conduct site measurement to take quantities / As built sizes.
• Assist in preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Compare site quantities with BOQ
• Support cost estimation and budgeting
• Maintain quantity and cost tracking sheets
• Verify subcontractor invoices and claims
• Measure and evaluate variations (change orders)
• Collaborate with Admin Maintain project documentation and reports
• Take site measurements of completed work
• Conduct joint measurements with subcontractors
• Verify work progress for billing purpose.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors
• Ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications
• Report discrepancies between drawings and site conditions
• Track material usage and deliveries
• Monitor project progress against planned schedule
• Report delays, shortages, and site issues
• Support communication between site and office teams
• Assist in overall cost control and project coordination

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2-3 Years experience in Quantity surveying/Site QS.
• UAE-Driving License valid one.
• Should be a Team player with a flexible approach.
• Will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
