Job Title: Construction Accountant

A startup construction company in the UAE looking to hire a Construction Accountant with proven experience in the contracting sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting for construction projects
• Handle job costing, budgets, and cost control
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, payments, and retention
• Handle VAT recording, filing, and compliance (UAE)
• Track variations, WIP, and project expenses

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a construction/contracting company (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting and project-based finance
• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Ability to work independently in a growing company

Salary: Based on experience
