Junior Accounts Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Officer with proficiency in QuickBooks to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice generation and payments.
• Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper categorization of transactions.
• Monitor and manage expense tracking and budget allocations.
• Support payroll processing and related entries in QuickBooks.
• Assist in tax preparation and filing in compliance with local regulations.
• Perform other related administrative and financial tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years in a similar accounting role, with hands-on experience in QuickBooks.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with team members and external stakeholders.
