Junior Architectural Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive architectural concepts, creating detailed drawings, and collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced design software and contributing to the development of innovative architectural and system designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Rhino3D.
• Prepare accurate schematics, construction drawings, and CAD documentation for various projects.
• Utilize Grasshopper 3D and Rhinoceros 3D for parametric modeling and complex form generation.
• Create 2D animations and graphic visualizations to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders on system design, interior design, mechanical design, and construction planning.
• Assist in drafting technical specifications and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
• Support project development through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.
• Participate in client presentations and project meetings to articulate design concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Rhino3D (including Grasshopper), and 3ds Max.
• Strong skills in drafting, schematics creation, graphic design, interior design, mechanical systems, and system design.
• Proficiency in 2D animation and CAD software for detailed technical drawings.
• Knowledge of construction processes and building codes is highly desirable.
• Ability to produce innovative designs with attention to detail while adhering to project deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• A degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered. Pay: $61,285.01 - $73,805.60 per year
