Junior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
  • Support gap analysis activities between existing systems/processes and business requirements.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), user stories, workflows, and process documentation.
  • Coordinate with business users, IT teams, and vendors during project implementation activities.
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case preparation, and defect tracking.
  • Support system enhancement and automation initiatives for operational efficiency.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports, dashboards, and business insights when required.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to understand business needs.
  • Maintain project documentation and update tracking tools such as JIRA and SharePoint.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up on assigned tasks and project activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Candidates with 1–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, IT, Operations, or Financial Services are preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to requirement gathering and business process documentation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, MS Visio, or SQL is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services, Banking, Brokerage, or Capital Markets will be a plus.
  • Internship or project experience in analytics, systems, or process improvement is beneficial.
