RHOME / QUADRA, a leader in luxury staging and turnkey services within the high-end property market, is seeking a Junior Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and confident taking ownership of their work from concept through installation.
Responsibilities
Design Support & Collaboration
- Assist senior designers in conceptualizing and executing staging and turnkey design packages.
- Create design concepts, floor plans, and presentations that align with the brand’s aesthetic and standards.
- Contribute thoughtful ideas and maintain a polished, cohesive point of view.
Project Ownership & Coordination
- Take ownership of assigned project components, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication throughout.
- Manage documentation, schedules, and deliverables with strong follow-through and personal accountability.
- Work independently when needed, demonstrating the ability to self-direct and solve problems proactively.
Product & Materials Sourcing
- Collaborate with the design and buying teams to source furnishings, décor, and accessories aligned with project goals and budgets.
- Prepare detailed selection lists, specification sheets, and sourcing documentation.
On-Site Leadership & Support
- Lead assigned installations on site, overseeing layouts, room arrangements, and styling to ensure the project meets design intent.
- Act as the main point of contact on site, coordinating with logistics, warehouse teams, and building personnel.
- Ensure all items are accounted for upon delivery and installation, maintaining clear organization and tracking of inventory on site.
- Manage site access, including handling keys, coordinating entry with building teams, and ensuring proper lock-up at the end of each workday.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment during installs, troubleshooting issues and making informed decisions when unexpected challenges arise.
- Execute final styling and detailing to present a polished, market-ready result.
Trend & Industry Awareness
- Maintain awareness of relevant design trends, materials, and furnishings.
- Bring fresh, informed perspectives to internal discussions and design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in design, staging, visual merchandising, or related roles (internships accepted).
- A strong portfolio demonstrating taste level, styling ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work within tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with floor planning programs, Slack, G-Suite, and project management platforms.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned work without constant oversight.Confident working on site, making decisions, and solving problems independently as needed.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid structure with on-site project work, office days, and remote days
Location: NYC + surrounding areas

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
