We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer specialized in joinery and fit-out projects to join our design team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role you will collaborate with senior designers and project managers to design and execute high-quality interior spaces that meet client needs. This is an ideal opportunity for a novice designer to grow in a collaborative, hands-on, learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and senior designers on interior design projects.
• Create detailed design plans, drawings, and 3D models for client presentations.
• Assist in selecting appropriate materials and finishes for joinery components.
• Participate in client meetings to gather design requirements and feedback.
• Ensure all design elements align with client specifications and brand guidelines.
• Support the development of project timelines and work schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and products.
• Monitor the progress of joinery and fit-out installations on-site.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of design processes and project records.
• Stay informed on the latest design trends and industry advancements.
• Assist in preparing project proposals and cost estimates for clients.
• Help ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in design execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of joinery and fit-out design principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines effectively.
• A keen eye for detail and passion for interior design creativity.
• Previous internship or work experience in interior design is advantageous.
