Position Overview

The Junior Plumbing Technician assists plumbers with residential plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance services while gaining hands-on field experience and industry training.

Responsibilities

• Support senior plumbers during plumbing service and installation appointments
• Assist with diagnosing residential plumbing issues and completing repairs
• Prepare work areas and maintain organization of tools and materials
• Help install plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and water systems
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean job site
• Learn plumbing codes, system layouts, and troubleshooting techniques
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

Qualifications

• Some plumbing experience or training is required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform physical labor
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
