Junior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. The ideal candidate will assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, project measurements, and subcontractor coordination while gaining hands-on experience in construction cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Support the preparation of BOQs, variations, and interim payment applications.
• Monitor project costs and maintain accurate records of quantities and expenditures.
• Coordinate with site engineers and procurement teams regarding material quantities and pricing.
• Assist in subcontractor evaluations and payment certifications.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to project costs and progress.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction estimation.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and measurement standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• UAE experience is preferred but not mandatory for junior candidates.
