Job Summary:
The Junior Recruiter will report directly to the Director of Recruitment and Training and play a vital role in supporting full-cycle recruiting and onboarding operations. This position requires a highly organized, proactive, and entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent while ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through first-day orientation and retention follow-up. This role partners closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, strengthen employer branding efforts, and support organizational hiring goals across sales, marketing, call center, resort operations, and support staff positions.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Collaborate with department leaders to define hiring needs and develop or update job descriptions.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for entry-level to mid-level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and onboarding.
  • Support recruiting efforts for sales, marketing, call center, operations, and resort positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop candidate profiles and effective sourcing strategies.
  • Review resumes and evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and role requirements.
  • Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews while providing timely feedback to hiring managers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, managing calendars and logistics for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, networking, referrals, job fairs, and outreach initiatives.
  • Utilize ATS platforms and recruiting tools to identify, track, and engage top talent.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and provide weekly recruitment updates and reports to leadership.
  • Guide candidates through pre-employment and onboarding processes, including background checks, I-9s, E-Verify, and onboarding documentation.
  • Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of onboarding records within HRIS and ATS systems such as Paycom.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and support first-day readiness.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and department leaders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Set up and maintain employee files and onboarding records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with employment verifications, offer letters, acknowledgements, and additional HR documentation.
  • Conduct 30-60-90 day follow-ups with new hires to support engagement and retention efforts.
  • Partner with Corporate Branding and leadership to maintain consistent employer brand messaging across recruitment platforms.
  • Create and manage engaging recruitment content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Monitor and respond to employer review platforms such as Indeed and Glassdoor.
  • Organize and attend job fairs, networking events, hiring events, and college recruiting initiatives.
  • Conduct site visits to local properties for meetings, employee engagement activities, and recruiting events.
  • Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives through digital and social platforms.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data, reporting, and documentation.
  • Support special recruiting projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with additional duties assigned by leadership and management.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination, corporate recruiting, or HR support preferred.
  • Experience recruiting within sales, marketing, call center, hospitality, resort operations, or similar environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and onboarding best practices.
  • Experience using ATS and HRIS platforms such as Paycom, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools, social media recruiting, and employer branding strategies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer and social media skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
