Responsibilities:

-Enter in bookkeeping for a range of clients.

-Prepare weekly and quarterly payroll.

-Prepare sales tax returns.

-Prepare individual income tax returns.

Requirements:

-A true team player who can also work independently when needed.

-A mindset for continuous improvement and a commitment to making processes more efficient.

-Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

- Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Customer Service skills.

Preferred but not required:

- degree in Accounting or Finance.
- experience in accounting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial services software, such as Quickbooks & Proseries.
- Solid understanding of account reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and preparation of payroll returns
- Experience with tax return preparation.
