Junior Web Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PHP back-end development and WordPress customization, along with experience in front-end technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving websites and web applications.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Intermediate to advanced expertise in WordPress development
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Symfony will be considered an advantage
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and data formats such as JSON and XML is a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and redesign custom WordPress-based websites along with PHP framework-based solutions
• Convert raw designs and layouts into responsive CSS/XHTML themes
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine technical specifications and project requirements
• Manage website page layouts and content placement according to provided content
• Design and create relational database schemas
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for existing websites and applications

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Web Developer
