Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Kannada Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students through interactive teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Classroom Management

• Teach Kannada language (reading, writing & speaking) to students across assigned grades.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
• Use creative teaching methodologies to improve language proficiency.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.

2. Student Development

• Support students in improving vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills.
• Identify learning gaps and provide additional guidance or remedial sessions.
• Encourage student participation in language-related activities such as debates, skits, poetry, and storytelling.

3. Academic Responsibilities

• Prepare question papers, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain academic records.
• Participate in curriculum planning and implementation.
• Conduct periodic tests, exams, and assignments.

4. School Participation

• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
• Assist in school events, cultural programs, and competitions.
• Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs regarding student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Kannada / Language Studies / B.Ed (preferred).
• Strong command over Kannada reading, writing, and speaking.
• Previous teaching experience in a school setting is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and classroom management ability.
• Passion for teaching and student engagement.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to use creative and activity-based teaching techniques.
• Basic computer skills for online teaching or digital assessments.
• Friendly, patient, and student-centered approach.
