  • To assume complete ownership and responsibility of the designated clients in the assigned vertical for developing Air Freight, Ocean freight, and Land Transportation for both inbound and outbound traffic.
  • Understanding the opportunities of the account and prepare annual planning for growth of business with the account.
  • Growth of the account and delivery of financial metrics (revenue, volume, GP & DSO / AR) where relevant and in line with agreed budget and development targets.
  • Successful market planning, business development planning and ensuring the implementation of business opportunities, from initial opportunity creation to establishment of stable operation.
  • Understanding where specific capabilities need to be developed to meet customer expectations and identifying those needs to management.
  • To ensure market coverage to improve our market share and position as a recognized brand in freight forwarding and logistics.
  • As part of the Commercial team, work towards the combined corporate goals and contribute to the overall development of the organization.
  • Assist Chief Commercial Officer’s efforts to improve overall sales performance both by volume and profit, by developing the designated corridors.
  • To ensure that client specific SOPs are communicated within the organization to provide agreed service levels to the customers.
  • Market knowledge relating to Freight Forwarding industry.
  • Knowledge of pricing procedure and desks involved, for all kinds of business including tenders/RFQ’s.
  • Customs Documentation.
  • Import & Export customs requirements and rules.
  • Knowledge of Local Market Service Requirements.
