Job Description: Key Accounts Executive – Modern Trade

Position Overview: The successful applicant for this role will be a commercially experienced individual with a proven ability to identify and recruit new partners for long-term success, as well as manage existing key accounts to drive growth. The priority is to maximize revenue generation by overseeing all activities associated with pipeline management, sales, and forecasting.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Develop strategic relationships with key accounts to drive commitment to the company’s products and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with Merchandisers to develop a robust pipeline of high-quality prospects, focusing on demand generation.
  • Effectively communicate, report, track, and manage sales pipelines.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with key head office partner personnel.
  • Coordinate agent support, including agent training, merchandising, and below-the-line (BTL) marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for new business.
  • Offer back-office support to sales leads, including preparing quotations, negotiating prices, and managing customer deployment activities.
  • Responsible for overall account management and activities supporting business leads.
  • Act as the key interface between the customer and relevant divisions within the company.
  • Ensure timely accounts receivables and reconcile account statements and invoices.
  • Propose innovative promotions and activities throughout the year to enhance shelf off-take for key account partners.
  • Manage communications between key accounts and internal teams.
  • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives.
  • Analyze client data to provide effective customer relationship management.

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field (e.g., Business Administration).
  • 5-6 years of experience in selling products in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and winning new business.
  • Experience in selling in the East African market will be advantageous.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing tact and diplomacy.
  • Passion for social enterprise, people development, and environmental benefits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RO400.000 - RO500.000 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Fmcg in frozen foods: 4 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • Arabic, English, Hindi and Malayalam (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Light vehicle license (Preferred)

Location:

  • Muscat (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (Preferred)
